Call for Portfolio Reviews

We are excited to offer portfolio review sessions for students! Each student will be allocated 15 minutes with a reviewer to receive personalized feedback on their work. These sessions are designed to provide feedback to help you refine your work but also an opportunity to get recruited for a future project.

Reviews are taking place on 27th of February, between 9:30 - 11:30. Room 208 in 1600.

Portfolio Submissions:

HOW TO SUBMIT:

The portfolio must include 10 – 15  pieces. Be mindful that each meeting will take 15 minutes.

Illustrations that belong to the same series can be placed on one page if need be (that counts as one page – it will reserve you some space.)

PDF Portfolio File Preparation Guidelines

Page 1: Cover Page

  • Include your logo, name, contact information, and a header.

Pages 2–12: Illustration Work

  • Showcase your illustration pieces, this is a mostly a narrative or editorial driven publication, we are looking for fully polished pieces.

Page 13: Thank You Page

  • Add a concluding note of thanks along with your logo and contact information.

Additional Notes:

  • The portfolio format should be landscape-oriented, you should have white margins around the work and header descriptions for each project.
  • Avoid placing your name or website on every page to keep the focus on your artwork. That information is on the cover and tank you pages.
  • Do not use Canva or overly intricate designs that could detract from your work. The goal is to present your illustrations clearly and professionally.
  • A simple white background is ideal to let your artwork shine.

Please submit a PDF proposal of no more than 5 of your best pieces to provide an idea of the artwork you'll be displaying at the International Student Gallery.
